Gigi and Travis brought everyone they love to Palácio do Correio-Mor, an 18th-century palace in Loures, just outside Lisbon. Painted ceilings, tiled halls and a staircase made for an entrance.
It was a big, joyful celebration. Lots of family, lots of dancing, lots of noise in the best way. I filmed it the way I film every wedding: quietly, close, without directing.
What stays with me is how at ease they were with each other in the middle of all that grandeur. The palace was beautiful. They were the story.
